Introducing the Francis Psychological Type and Emotional Temperament Scales (FPTETS): a study among church leaders and church members

The Francis Psychological Type Scales were developed during the early 2000s to operationalize four components of psychological type theory within survey-style research, proposing measures introversion and extraversion, sensing intuition, feeling thinking, judging perceiving. Drawing on datasets clergy churchgoers (N = 291, 879, 1,296, 1,525), present study tests factor structure these established alongside fifth construct emotional temperament, distinguishing between calm temperament volatile temperament. data both support satisfactory performance proposed Emotional Temperament (FPTETS) suggest a research program for further development refinement this measure.
